Since 2007 I have been employed in the civil construction/earthmoving industry & before that I have been driving machines since I could reach the pedals. Throughout my 17 years in the earthmoving industry I have seen my employers run into many costly situations due to not locating assets.
On occasion markers have been removed, pits have been buried or plans have been used that were are not up to date which all lead to disaster. Every single one of these situations could’ve been avoided with a simple phone call to a certified locator.
After witnessing these events occur time and time again I started looking into becoming a certified locator myself, so I could help businesses avoid digging into their hard earned cash & avoid their costs blowing out on quoted contracts.
